Athletes, please join us in Miles on a Mission. Celebrate 10 years of Tri My Best and complete 10 miles by September 10. Participating in this challenge includes a $30 donation to support cerebral palsy programming. To learn more, click here.

Meet Lily

Lily

Medical Journey: I was adopted at 11 months old and had a stiff leg (Cerebral Palsy). Have been with St. Louis Children's Hospital and the Cerebral Palsy center since then!

Tri My Best Experience: I have participated in Tri My Best all 10 years.

Favorite thing about Tri My Best: Swimming and getting the medal.

Camp Independence Experience: I have attended and enjoy swimming and playing with the other kids and staff

Favorite Hospital Meal: Pizza and Mac & Cheese

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?: Super strength

When I grow up I want to be...?: A singer

If you saw a shooting star, what would you wish for?: A Build-A-Bear

Anything else you want to share about your experience at St. Louis Children's Hospital?: I love the talking elevators at the hospital and West County Specialty Care Center. Why don't the elevators talk at South County Specialty Care Center?

Meet Eve

Eve

Medical Journey: Eve is a person with Cerebral Palsy caused by meningitis. She is also deaf in her right ear due to the infection. After many decades of hard work by her therapists and Eve's inner-strength and great attitude, she has grown into a happy and outgoing adult.

Tri My Best Experience: Yes, all 10 years, I love it!!!

Favorite thing about Tri My Best: Swimming and going faster than I did before.

Camp Independence Experience: I have attended and enjoyed learning new sports. As I got older, I was able to attend and help little kids at camp.

Favorite Hospital Meal: Cheeseburger

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?: To be super strong

When I grow up I want to be...?: A doctor for the brain

If you saw a shooting star, what would you wish for?: To go to Hawaii
